Jessica Biel is getting ready to return to the small screen for her first role in two years with the Peacock limited series The Good Daughter.

The 42-year-old actress is slated to star in and produce the project for the streaming service, which was announced through a Peacock press release.

Author Karin Slaughter - who wrote the 2017 novel the series is based on - has been set to write every episode of the show and executive produce. 

The role will be Biel's first since playing Candy Montgomery in the 2022 Hulu limited series Candy, coming after it was revealed she had a crush on 7th Heaven co-star Barry Watson.

The series is described as, 'a suspenseful crime drama,' that follows sisters Charlotte (Jessica Biel) and Samantha Quinn.
