David was cheered by the crowd as he made an energetic exit from the iconic house on Friday.

He then told AJ and Will 'Slay! I really did not expect this at all, thank you so much'

Speaking to hosts AJ and Will during his first interview on Late and Live, he said: 'This is just me, what you see is what you get. Loud, long legs, here to slay!

David also spoke on Sharon Osbourne putting him in the 'danger zone' on the first night: 'That didn't surprise me, I get pre judged a lot on first impression.'

Discussing his friendships in the house, David said: 'I like people, especially people who have the same energy as me, like Bradley for example, I gravitate towards them. 'Me and Bradley have the same sense of humour, he's just a great guy.

'I've never really been one of the lads, but when I got really close with Nikita and Colson, I was like, 'not me being one of the lads.' I love it, I'm so versatile these days.'

On Bradley's shock exit during Thursday's show, David added: 'I was devo, I genuinely thought he would be in the final. I thought everyone would love him as much as I do.'

At the end of the interview, David summarised his experience as an 'absolute slay'.

He added: 'We are strangers at the beginning and I delved right in. So I've learned to have a bit more trust in people, let my guard down. Other than that keep slaying.

Earlier on in the night, it was revealed that Coronation Street star Colson - who plays Craig Tinker on the ITV1 soap opera - had landed in third place and felt 'so lucky' to have got so far in the game.

He said: 'It's amazing, I feel so lucky to have been on the show. I never thought I'd have the podium finish but I'm absolutely delighted.'

Prior to that, former X Factor judge Louis Walsh had emerged in fourth place overall and admitted that he had had some 'tough' nights on the show and was 'glad' to be out.

'I am so glad to be out, we had a brilliant time, but it is scary! I really wanted to go a few times, it really is tough at nighttime, during the day is okay'.

The first of the five finalists to be evicted was This Morning legend Fern Britton - who exited the house to cheers from the crowd whilst Jennifer Lopez track 'Let's Get Loud'
