Former Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis's 14-year-old daughter Camila swayed the judges to win a spot on Sunday's two-hour episode of American Idol on ABC.

'You know what it's like to be on television, you're trying to throw her into this lion's den?' Katy Perry, 39, asked on Sunday's episode, which wrapped up the American Idol auditions for this season.

'Not really,' Juan, 42, said. ' She's been singing since she was little and the opportunity came and she wanted to do it. I said, 'I don't know if you're old enough, that was last year and they said maybe next year.'

Juan said his daughter Camila, a high school student who lives in Miami, was only four when he went on the Bachelor to find love. Juan also added that he was currently single.

The auditions for this new season closed out in a special way, with the final audition - Julia Gagnon - earning the third and final Platinum Ticket.
