Louis Walsh has clawed back his cruel comments about Ronan Keating after he called the Boyzone singer a 'p***k'.

The Irish talent scout, 71, left the Celebrity Big Brother house in fourth place on Friday after making it to the final.

But his time in the house wasn't without its controversies, as during the three-and-a-half-week stint Louis made shock comments about Jedward, Anna Wintour, James Corden and Ronan Keating.

Ronan, 47, is a member of Boyzone, a band managed by Louis - who while in the CBB house cursed out the singer in a conversation with Sharon Osbourne

In an episode of the show, Ronan's solo single Life Is A Rollercoaster started playing, at which point Louis Said: 'Great song,' before leaning over to Sharon and adding: 'He was such a p***k.'

As the song continued to play, Louis criticised Ronan's career, saying: 'He hasn't had a hit record since I left. He sacked me.'

On Monday, Louis appeared on This Morning to talk to hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley about his time in the house.

During the conversation, Louis appeared to express regret at how he had spoken about Ronan - and other celebrities.

Louis said: 'I wasn't being malicious, and I do regret saying stuff about people. I forgot the cameras were on me. I was being honest and not malicious.

'I didn't want to fake anything so I sat back and watched everything - I watched everyone else perform.'

He added: 'With Ronan and I, it was all a little bit of panto. I kind of regret saying what I did. I loved working with him. He was a great worker, and he's very driven, and very good - very
