The Bachelor: Joey Graziadei proposes to Kelsey Anderson and she tearfully ... trends now

Joey Graziadei got engaged to Kelsey Anderson on Monday's live season finale of The Bachelor after she accepted his marriage proposal in Tulum, Mexico.

Daisy Kent, 25, of Becker, Minnesota, told Joey, 28, that she knew he wasn't going to pick her over Kelsey, 25, of Leesville, Louisiana, and voluntarily left the show.

Joey offered to walk her out, but Daisy declined his offer and left the beachside proposal site in Tulum on her own.

Celebrity jeweler Neil Lane helped Joey pick an engagement ring as the teaching tennis pro was ready to propose to Kelsey after Daisy and Kelsey both met his family, including sisters Carly and Ellie. 

'I can't wait another minute to tell you that I love you,' Joey said to Kelsey. 'There is something about you. You have this infectious energy that makes me smile. It's a feeling I've never had before. I know during this time that we built a very strong flame and the only reason I know that flame will never go out is because you are my light. I have known for a while that I wanted to have a beautiful life. But I truly didn't know how beautiful that life could be until I met you.' 

Joey dropped to a knee and asked Kelsey to marry him and she tearfully said yes.

When the show opened, Joey was in Tulum and said he had fallen in love with Daisy, an account executive, and Kelsey, a junior program manager, and was confident that he would be getting engaged in a few days. Joey's family had flown in to meet both women.

Joey said he started with 32 women but was now down to just two. He brought Daisy to meet his family first.

'I'm nervous but I think it's because I care so much,' Daisy said. 'I really need today to go well.'

Daisy told them about her cochlear implant and how kind Joey was to her when she told him about it. Joey's sister Ellie and Carly pulled Daisy aside to chat. Daisy told them that she told Joey she was falling in love with him.

'If he were to get down a knee today, I would say yes,' Daisy said. 'I am in love with him and I haven't told him yet.'

Daisy teared up and told them she would pick Joey every single day but she was also terrified because there is another woman. His sisters then told Joey that Daisy was super sweet and compatible with him. Daisy also cried talking to Joey's mother Cathy.

'I want what's best for you, honey,' Cathy said.

Joey thanked Daisy for being open and honest in meeting his family.

Next, Kelsey met Joey's family. Kelsey teared up telling them that she lost her mother a few years ago and how her father took care of her until the bitter end. Kelsey met with Joey's sisters and told them that she wanted to choose him every day. Kelsey told them she was on any timeline to get married.

'If he would propose to you, would you be ready for that?,' Carly asked.

'I think so,' Kelsey said.

'Kelsey is amazing but she wasn't able to give the same response that Daisy was in saying that she was a 100% ready,' Carly said. 'Probably one of Joey's biggest fears is that he chooses to propose to someone who is not ready to accept that proposal.'

Joey's sisters told them about the different reactions they got from both women. Kelsey broke down when Joey's father asked what would be her reaction if he chose the other woman and she cried.

In a confessional, Kelsey said she hoped Joey's family could see through her reaction how much she cared for Joey and saw a future with him.
