Fitness influencer Ashy Bines has shared a heartbreaking health update with her fans, revealing she has been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.

The Queensland mother-of-two, 35, shared the shock news to Instagram on Monday, revealing that it was discovered when she went to the hospital after losing her sight.

Bines posted a video of her arriving with her family and captioned it with some alarming words: 'I've lost my sight three times in the last week. Decided to go to a doctor because we were starting to get worried.

'Got a CT scan, they found a small aneurysm. Pretty scary as husband Steve has had a huge one removed and I also have this run in my family. Lost a young uncle and a nan to an aneurysm.

She added she would be putting her other commitments on hold for the time being as she focused on getting better.
