The actor, who stars in the upcoming adaptation as Clint Donovan, beamed as he strolled along carrying a wooden basket - and was kissed by lead actress Rosalind.

As she lovingly embraced Lenny, Rosalind donned light blue high-waisted belted jeans, a patterned crop top and a patterned shirt draped over the top, with some sage green boots. The pair were also seen wearing huge padded jackets.

Rosalind was seen draping her hands around Lenny's neck as she raised onto her tiptoes to plant a kiss on him, before running off with her arms flailing.

However in another snap, Rosalind was also seen kissing Ashley - hinting at a possible love triangle in the upcoming series.

As Ashley, dressed in dark grey jeans, a white vest and a plaid shirt, loaded things into what appeared to be a removal van, Rosalind embraced him.

Tenderly cupping his face with her hands, Rosalind kissed Ashley by the van.

It comes after Lenny's final time co-hosting Comic Relief's star-studded Red Nose Day show was watched by an average of 3.6 million viewers, according to overnight figures.

The annual fundraising programme, which featured a host of comedy sketches, musical performances and tributes to Sir Lenny, saw a notable rise in viewers compared to last year's average of 2.9 million.
