Ralf Little has hinted at who could replace him in Death in Paradise following his departure from the show.
The 44-year-old British actor, has been fighting crime on the fictional island of Saint Marie since 2020 as Neville Parker.
Sunday's episode saw his character depart to join DS Florence Cassell, played by French actress Josephine Jobert, following encouragements from his colleagues to run after her.
And now he has suggested who could take his place in cast, telling the Big Issue: 'I wish I had some insider knowledge but I don’t. Someone younger, someone older? I have no idea.
'But every leader has to arrive on the island as a fish out of water. That’s the formula. And they have something within them that is broken, and that the island, and the people they work with, will heal. However they do it, that’s the key.'

When asked if a female actress could replace him in the cast, he added: 'They have the scope to do anything and the opportunity to do anything, but also, this creative team can do anything because they’re so good.'
Ralf left Death In Paradise after four years on the Caribbean-set detective show on Sunday.
His character departed to join DS Florence Cassell following encouragements from his colleagues to run after her.
Neville tells her: 'I don't want to say goodbye but if you do I mean, that's fine, obviously, especially after me behaving like a complete and utter... idiot...
'Listen Florence, I don't need promises, I don't need guarantees, if the unknown is all you have to offer then it's good enough for me, whatever happens, wherever it leads all I want is for us to take a leap together."
They then depart on a boat, away from the island.
