Saturday Night Live star Heidi Gardner says she and her spouse Zeb Wells have broken up.
The Kansas City, Missouri native, 40, made the personal reveal on The Liz Moody Podcast, as she said she 'went through the end of a relationship' in reference to Webb, 46, who she exchanged vows with in 2010.
Gardner said that using the phrase 'end' felt 'weird to say' in talking about the split with Wells, a writer for Marvel Comics, who she did not refer to by name, nor specify the time when they parted ways.
Gardner said she knows 'that person will always be in my life and it will transform in a different way.'
Gardner, who's been a cast member on the NBC comedy staple since 2017, made it appear that she and her estranged spouse remained as amicable terms, as she said she still has 'all the like love and respect in the world' for the person in question.

'It was just a couple year period of transition and grief and hope and loss and all of those things,' Gardner said. 'But I will say that during that time I feel like I never wasted a day in getting to know myself, becoming a better version of myself and becoming a better friend and future partner I think.'
