Rudy and Camila met when he cast her as his onscreen girlfriend Isabella, in the new film.
He recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about how his romance with the siren came to be.
'I met Cami on the film, and of course it was a dream come true,' he said, adding, 'She ticked every single box that I could possibly tick for this character.'
