Married At First Sight fans have discovered that Timothy Smith is no stranger to the small screen after footage of him on another reality TV show has resurfaced.

The real estate tycoon, 51, who was unsuccessfully paired with fan favourite bride Lucinda Light on the 2024 season, made another TV appearance around 11 years ago.

A fan account on Instagram known as MAFSUncensored shared a video of Timothy appearing on a Canadian series called The Liquidator back in 2013.

The rerun episode saw Timothy and a woman named Collette arrive at a used goods store to haggle with the show's main star Jeff Schwarz.

Jeff, who makes his living flipping unwanted items, attempted to negotiate a price with gin distillery owner Timothy, who wanted to purchase a polar bear statue.

'We've just opened up a restaurant,' Collette said, referring to Timothy's Vancouver restaurant called Koala Kebabs, which has since closed down.

Timothy went on to confirm with Jeff that he was there to 'buy a bear', which he intended to modify to look like a koala for his restaurant. 

Jeff offered the polar bear to Timothy for $1,150, having originally bought it for $350, but he was having none of it,
