Neil Patrick Harris fired up his Instagram this week to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his first date with his husband David Burtka.
The couple first went out together on April Fool's Day 2004 and tied the knot in 2014 when New York State legalized same-sex marriage.
They are now the proud parents of 13-year-old twins, a girl called Harper and a boy called Gideon, whom they welcomed via surrogacy in 2010.
On Monday, however, Neil looked further back into the past - before the marriage and the children - to remember how his romance with David first began to bloom.
'Our first date was 20 years ago today. Man, how time has flown by… and yet… we’ve shared so many adventures, created so many remarkable memories,' wrote Neil, 50.
