The Fault in Our Stars actor, 30, looked like a different person with his just past his shoulders hair – which is a big change from when he shaved his head in 2021. He wore his hair parted in the middle and the new length highlighted his natural curls. The Carrie star wore a navy blue pinstriped suit with a white shirt and no tie. The 6ft3in star towered over his 6ft0in co-star Sho Kasamatsu, 31, in the photos from the FYC (For Your Consideration) event. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last month, Elgort – who plays American journalist Jake Adelstein on the show about the Yakuza gang – talked about how episode eight of the current season circles back to the pilot. 'In episode eight we finally get to that first scene in the Michael Mann pilot where Jake and Katagiri go and meet with the yakuza,' he said. 'We finally got back there, and it was amazing for me to be back there now, because it was a few years later and I am speaking Japanese in the scene and I’m much better now' he said. The Baby Driver – which debuts on Netflix this month– actor also revealed how he finally mastered his Japanese lines for the pilot episode and how much better he is at the language now. 'I was preparing for many months [in season one] speaking Japanese, so I definitely wasn’t as good as I was when I shot it the second time, or as good as I am now. 'But at the time, I still knew what I was saying,' he told the outlet and then spoke several lines of fluent Japanese. He continued: 'I had practiced it also with a sensei and he would help me with the with the pronunciation and inflection; so, I probably said that line about a million times before I did it the first time.'
