Jonah Hill has been hard at work in the Los Angeles region shooting his latest film Outcome, for which he's directing and co-starring alongside Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer.

But come Saturday, The Wolf Of Wall Street star enjoyed a brief weekend reprieve from helming the black comedy by heading out for a blissful battle with Mother Nature during a day of surfing.

While the temperature topped out in the mid-60s Fahrenheit more inland, it only reached the upper 50s as a high along the coast, forcing him to use a classic black wetsuit.

Hill, 40, only just took up the sport in the summer 2019 after admitting he had been too scared to give it a go as a youngster.

'Been terrified to surf my whole life. Totally random fear and at the same time always been a secret dream of mine,' the This Is the End star wrote in an Instagram post  that showed him posing with an instructor in February 2020.
