And tempers flared when the pair faced off with Jono's former bride Lauren Dunn and co-star Sara Mesa.
At one stage, Ellie became so enraged her foul mouthed rant had to be extensively censored with a bleep.
Sara accused Ellie and Jono of cooking the books when it came to the timeline of their romance, while the pair insisted they did not 'cheat' during the experiment while married to others.
Jono explained that he and Ellie had bonded over a six-hour phone call following the end of the experiment.

Not buying it, Sara called the claims, 'complete bulls**t' while Lauren tried to step in, snapping, 'Ellie, no, no'.
Ellie flew into a rage and snapped: 'Are you f***ing serious, I left the experiment in week five you f***ing b***h.'
