Jim Davidson has joked to friends 'he'll be like Henry VIII' if he decides to marry for a sixth time to his new girlfriend Natasha.

The comedian, 70, is said to be 'completely besotted' by Natasha after they struck up a romance shortly after splitting from his wife of 14 years, Michelle Cotton.

A friend told The Sun: 'We were all worried about Jim after he and Michelle broke up because he was so down. But Natasha has made him so happy, he’s like a new man.

'He is completely besotted. He hasn’t popped the question yet, but we wouldn’t be surprised if he does.'

Last week, MailOnline revealed Jim was telling everyone that 'he can't wait to walk down the isle with Natasha' as they attended Nigel Firage's 60th birthday party at Boisdale's in Canary Wharf.

Jim said he is 'completely smitten with her and finally believes he has found 'the one', urging his pals to 'tell her she should marry me'. 

He also took to the stage at the party where he couldn't stop gushing about his new love who works as a freelance assistant with him on his ustreme.com channel.

He said: 'I've just got my divorce through and I'm here with my new girlfriend,' joking about how many wives he has had and saying he has room for another.

Natasha is 23 years younger than Jim, but things seem to be going swimmingly after his most recent split. 

Jim has said he has already sold the Georgian cottage in Stockbridge, Hampshire, that he and Michelle shared and is ready for a 'new chapter.'

He claimed he is still on good terms with Michelle, whom he wed in 2009, and will continue to visit his ex-wife, although he is too sad to see the dogs they once shared.

'There you go, the divorce came through today, so it's done. I'm divorced again, my fifth divorce,' he said in an interview posted on his streaming platform, Ustreme.
