Former Waterloo Road actress Christine Tremarco has joined the cast of ITV's Emmerdale and is due to make her onscreen debut in April.
Christine, 46, will arrive in the village as Rose - a woman known to Kim Tate's husband Will - ITV revealed on Tuesday.
Bolshy and boisterous, Rose has recently been living in Benidorm and her arrival is set to cause a stir when Will [Dean Andrews] fails to mention her to his wife Kim [Claire King].
'I am thrilled to be joining Emmerdale!' the acclaimed actress said of her new role.
'To be working with such a wonderful cast and crew along with the brilliant writing and production team is an absolute joy!'
