Bachelor In Paradise star Davey Lloyd has revealed the results of his first colonoscopy following years of drug and alcohol abuse.

The reality star, who recently suffered a life-threatening seizure brought on by his substance addiction, took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday with the health update.

He began by sharing a photo of himself smiling and pulling a thumbs up while sitting in a hospital bed, writing: 'First colonoscopy'.

In the following slide, he wrote: 'Ladies and gentlemen who suffer fatigue or have [been] using drugs and alcohol for a while. I highly suggest looking into getting a colonoscopy.'

'They found 19 polyps,' he continued, adding a shocked face emoji.
