I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! fans have slammed the show after a 'horrifying' challenge left contestant Ellie Cole with a gruesome hand injury.
On Tuesday night, hosts Robert Irwin and Julia Morris watched in horror as the 32-year-old Paralympic swimmer fed her hand through holes filled with boxes of creatures, including snakes and rodents, to fetch yellow stars.
The first box was full of offal, a delicacy for various creatures.
When Ellie reached into a second box filled with rats, one bit and scratched her hand, refusing to let go as she tried to unscrew a star inside.
'Oh my god, it hurts so much! Ow!' she cried as Robert winced from above.
