Rihanna has 'a lot of visual ideas' for a new album.
Fans have been patiently awaiting for her ninth studio LP for eight years following the singer's last album, Anti, which was released in January 2016.
However, it seems the wait is set to go on as the mother-of-two has revealed that so far she is having a lot of creative ideas but no songs to go with them yet.
Speaking to Interview Magazine, she said: 'I have a lot of visual ideas. It's weird. My brain is working backward right now.
'I usually have the music first, and the music leads me into all of these visual opportunities, and now I'm having all of these visuals, and I don't have the songs for them yet, but maybe that's the key, this time,' added the pinup who posed in purple lingerie this week.
'Maybe the visual ideas are leading me to the songs that I need to make,' noted the cover girl.

Asked further about the inspiration behind her new tracks, she said: 'Random ideas, quirky ideas, things that have nothing to do with me at all.

It comes after the Barbadian singer recently revealed she's excited 'for what is to come' claiming that the album that will come next will be something of a rebirth.
Rihanna told Complex: 'I'm in an era of discovery. And maybe it's rediscovery because so much is changing, and some things are fleeting. And some things are yet to be discovered, right? And I'm in the centre of all of that.
'So I'm not on a landing yet, but I'm excited for what is to come because I have the feeling of what it is.
