Mel B put on an animated display as she was greeted by fans outside of a TV studio in London, after her hilarious appearance on BBC's Saturday Kitchen.

The Spice Girl, 48, cut a casual figure in cream jumper and matching joggers, teamed with bright pink slippers.

She accessorised with a leopard print scarf and stylish shades, while her caramel tresses were scraped back in a bun.

Mel stopped for selfies with fans and signed autographs before climbing into a car, alongside her newly-dyed pink Yorkshire Terrier dog.

It comes after fans were left in hysterics after Mel B gave a rather honest review of the food on Saturday Kitchen.

Joining host Matt Tebutt as the celebrity guest on the BBC show, Mel didn't hold back as she gave her brutal review of the food as she tried her best to avoid eating it and complained about the fat on the bacon.

Celebrities on the show face either their food heaven, or food hell, as chosen by the public.

And while the Spice Girl had hoped for her food heaven of ox cheek and sprouts, instead she received her hell: stodgy carbonara.

As the plate of pasta was served up Matt began to tell viewers how he conjured up the dish as he explained: 'I added enough pasta water to kind of make a creamy sauce, with no cream', before he was interrupted by Mel making vomitting noises in the background.

The TV chef served the Italian dish with a salad which also failed to meet Mel's approval.

She asked: 'You see that has that tingy ugh thing, what's it called that thing that has that really bitter taste?'

'Delicious,' suggested Matt as he explained: 'Oh that's fennel and chicory'.

'Horrible,' passionately exclaimed Mel as she added: 'I just want some nice iceberg lettuce, keep it simple, with salad cream'.
