Donald Glover, also known by his stage name Childish Gambino, revealed he will be starting his new album 'rollout' on Sunday night.

The musician and actor, 40, took to his Twitter on Sunday afternoon to announce he is in the process of releasing new tunes.

'GILGA Radio tonight @ 11pm pst. Live streamed on Instagram @donaldglover,' he wrote.

After a fan questioned if he'd be playing new music, Glover — who was recently seen with girlfriend Michelle White in rare red carpet appearance — cheekily wrote back, 'Of course. It's a rollout dummy.'

The new project will be Gambino's first in over four years, following the release of his studio album 3.15.20 in March of 2020.

His fans were thrilled with the announcement, with one writing, 'WE WILL BE THERE NO MATTER WHAT!!!'

'I f*****g missed you please please please rap again,' another added.

Many also speculated whether he might be joining in on the massive rap feud between hip hop stars Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Rick Ross, and a number of other artists, which has been unfolding this past week.

'Take shots at drake and kendrick like you did before,' one wrote.

'Childish Gambino pulling up to the Drake & Kendrick Lamar beef,' someone else chimed in.

The artist previously teased new music earlier this year, sharing what seemed to be a tracklist for a new album called Atavista on Instagram in March.

In 2023 he told E! News, 'I'm making music right now, I love it. I'm actually working, I'm in the studio. I've been bringing people in, like secret people, working on little things.'

'But I just been, you know, making it for fun right now. But soon something will happen, I promise. Something will happen.'
