RHOM star Alexia Nepola has expressed her 'shock' after her husband Todd filed for divorce following two years of marriage.

A 'heartbroken' Nepola, 56, shared a statement responding to the divorce filing shortly after news broke her spouse had filed to end the marriage. 

'I am shocked and heartbroken that Todd has chosen to dissolve our marriage,' she posted to her Instagram Stories on Monday. 

'I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during this difficult time.

'I'm praying for better times ahead.'

It comes after Page Six reported that Todd had filed to end the marriage on April 11. 

In the divorce documents, Todd said their marriage was 'irretrievably broken.' 

Alexia, best known as a member of the Real Housewives of Miami cast, has yet to respond to the petition. 

Todd, a commercial real estate executive, revealed in his filing that each had signed a prenuptial agreement on Dec. 10, 2021,  six days before they tied the knot.

The details of the contract were not listed in the filing.
