Casey Donovan showed off her slimmed down figure in a little black dress as she continued her media blitz for her role in the Sister Act stage musical on Monday.

The former Australian Idol star, 35, who won season two of the singing competition, rocked a cute mini ruffle frock from Forever New and paired it with a set of chunky black heels. 

Her monochrome look didn't end there, as Casey accessorised with a black handbag before hiding her eyes behind a pair of $500 Bulgari shades. 

Glowing with a contoured makeup look, Casey appeared over the moon to be promoting her leading role in Sister Act.

The performer landed the part of Sister Deloris Van Cartier, made famous by none other than Whoopi Goldberg in the 1992 film.
