Louise Thompson reveals her son Leo, two, is 'fascinated' by her stoma bag as ... trends now

Louise Thompson has sweetly shared how her son Leo is 'fascinated' by her stoma bag after she had one fitted after years of suffering with ulcerative colitis.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 34, said that her little boy, two, loves lifting up her top and hiding under her clothes and now has a 'total fascination with the bag'.

Louise mused how 'many lessons could be learned from our children' because her son does not find the topic of her ileostomy bag 'awkward' or 'taboo'. 

The mother of one posted a clip of Leo reaching to the bag while her top was lifted up, as she shared his 'funny obsession' with her followers. 

She wrote: 'My son has a really funny obsession with my ileostomy bag. I have no idea how he knows to say 'poo poo', but I guess he's smarter than I thought. 

'Isn't it wonderful how unaffected our children are by awkward and "taboo" subjects? If only we could all be this non judgemental… except when he points out a spot on my face in public and shouts "boo boo".

'I guess boo boo and poo poo sound similar. The stoma is a bit of a both. It's both an ouchy and a way to go to the loo.

Revealing the clip was taken by her fiance Ryan Libbey, she said: 'I'm sharing this off the cuff video that Ryan captured when trying to get a 'civilised outfit shot...

'For every person that messaged me to say that they haven't had the confidence to tell their friends and family they have a stoma…. Some of you for years. (There are thousands of you btw).'

She concluded: 'Nothing to be ashamed of. Still the same human on the inside. I haven't had a personality transplant. I can still dress, walk and talk the same.'

Louise also shared an adorable gallery of snaps, some of which showed Leo sticking his head under her top as they posed for pictures together in their family kitchen.

Others were of them enjoying the sunshine outside in the garden, as they sat on the garden furniture before piling into a basket with her dogs.

In the caption, she wrote: 'Without sounding too cliche, I BLOODY LOVE THE SUNSHINE! Ps. It's rather funny… Leo loves hiding under my clothes/ lifting up my top, and now obviously has a total fascination with the bag.'

Louise looked lovely in the photos, wearing a strappy flowing cream top, which was teamed with a pair of matching linen trousers.

Leo was dressed in a gorgeous knitted cardigan with embroidered strawberries and his name stitched on the back in green with linen trousers and mini Samba trainers.

Louise recently told how her friends and family have told her she's the 'healthiest they've seen in years'.

She took to her Instagram on Saturday to say her 'confidence' was on the up after a poignant week which saw her announce to fans she had the surgery.

Posting a montage of snaps and videos, Louise's post was then flooded with supportive messages from her friends and followers, including her brother's girlfriend Zara McDermott, who said she's got her 'sparkle' back.
