Located in Hawthorn, the once grand home was left wasting for a decade before Andy, 42, and his long term sweetheart Rebecca Harding, 31, snapped it up for a whopping $8.5million.
And to celebrate their elaborate plans for the 150-year-old property, Andy and Rebecca threw a Christmas party for their neighbours last week.
The Hundred host told the Herald Sun on Saturday that he decided to start work on the mansion next year after part of the remaining roof fell in.
Andy explained the reasons why the couple decided to host a Christmas in the mansion which sits a prime location overlooking the Yarra River.
