Kate Hudson has surprised her fans with her 'amazing vocal range' as she dropped her new single, Gonna Find Out, on BBC Radio 2.
The radio station played the world premier of her track, which she teased on her Instagram page on Tuesday evening.
Kate, who has worked for decades as a Hollywood actress, has tipped her toe into the music industry and fans were bowled over by the song.
They demanded to know 'why she has been hiding her voice behind closed doors?' after she released a sample of her music online.
Kate revealed that her song was inspired by those summer nights where you fancy someone and you wonder if you'll go home with them.

Speaking on Zoe Ball's breakfast show on Wednesday, Kate said: 'Hi Zoe and hi Radio 2 listeners. I'm so excited to share with you my new single, Gonna Find Out.
'This song was really inspired by those moments in your life, especially in summertime, when you just kind of really think someone's hot and kind of want to see if you're gonna end up going home with them.
'Which I'm not gonna say I've ever done in my life, but I just loved, like, the rawness of the song, and it's inspired by a lot of UK musicians, rock musicians.'
Kate dropped her debut single, Talk About Love, in January. She co-wrote the song with Linda Perry as well as her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa.
While talking to People, the beauty opened up about stepping into the music industry and writing songs for her upcoming album.
'It's really fun. I'm really enjoying it. The writing process was the most important and cathartic for me,' she expressed to the outlet.
'I wrote the songs, so they're very personal, and each one is a different kind of expression of myself. Every [song] will feel different, but obviously, I think, very authentic to me.'
