Olly Murs was separated from his newborn baby girl Madison and wife Amelia Tank as he headed to Leeds to perform with Take That.
The hitmaker, 39, welcomed his first child with bodybuilder Amelia, 31, after the pair married last year.
But mere hours after the birth was announced on Instagram by Olly on Wednesday, he had to travel to Leeds to perform and spoke of the difficulty leaving his family.
Sharing a video on the social media site, he said 'It's been an incredible few days, little Madison is here and we're just very, very over the moon and just full of love.
'I just wanted to jump on here and say that everyone who is coming to the Leeds show tonight for the Take That show, I am here, yes. I mean it was so horrible to say goodbye this morning to Madison and Amelia but the show must go on.

Sharing a sweet snap to Instagram on Wednesday, the couple uploaded a photograph leaving the hospital as they revealed they had welcomed a baby girl.
The joint post read: 'Our mini murs has arrived. Madison we love you so much already x'.
Olly and Amelia announced they were expecting their first child in December when they shared the exciting announcement to Instagram.
Dressed in Christmas jumpers, an excited Olly proudly held up a photo from their ultrasound scan while pointing at Amelia's blossoming baby bump.
He wrote: 'Baby Murs due 2024' as Amelia posed in unbuttoned jeans and a white crop top.
A host of the couple's showbiz friends took to the comment section to share their congratulations.
Dianne Buswell wrote: 'congrats guys' while Davina McCall said: 'Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy' (sic).
