Faithless have announced that they are set to return to the stage with their first live shows in eight years.

Made up of Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo Armstrong, dance music band Faithless had incredible success throughout their time in the limelight.

Despite releasing new music in 2020, the band had been relatively quiet since the sad passing of lead singer Maxi in 2022.

However fans of the band will be pleased to hear that Faithless are set to make a return - as they announced new shows in a statement on Friday.

The statement also revealed the band is working on more music, as the bandmates paid an emotional tribute to Maxi.

Eight years on from their final live performance, Faithless's first run of full live dates, including a homecoming show at London’s Roundhouse, will take place in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Amsterdam.

The band will then lead into headline sets at three of the major UK festivals: Glastonbury, Wilderness and Bestival.

It will also be the first time the band have performed since the passing of beloved frontman, Maxi.

Of the tour and new music, Faithless said in a statement: 'As many of you have noticed, we’re back…Some shows have already been announced but we couldn't start the summer without a little personal note.

'Maxi died just over a year ago and obviously we miss him every day. Thank you all for all of your kind words of support over this last year. It has really, really meant a lot.

'In the meantime, we never stopped (couldn't stop, never wanted to stop!) making music. Even during Maxi’s long illness we recorded and released ‘All Blessed’ and now finally, 8 years
