She has graced the red carpet with some of the season's boldest looks. They have included a plunging neon-green dress, and a red, white and blue tennis outfit – complete with fluffy 'tail'.

However, it's Zendaya's plain brown pullover from her new film that is expected to trigger a run at the shops from women who want one... and from men who want to see their partner wearing one.

The actress, 27, sports the jumper in the tennis-based movie Challengers that is released on Friday.

In the film, her character, Tashi Duncan, is in a love triangle with tennis stars played by Josh O'Connor and Mike Faist.

In one scene – when she argues with O'Connor's character and walks off – she is wearing a brown cashmere jumper paired with a gold necklace and navy blue trousers.
