Melissa Leong's career has powered on since she was dumped from MasterChef Australia last year.
The 42-year-old is now heading for a role outside her usual brand, as she takes on a commentating position at the UFC 305 at RAC Arena.
The former MasterChef judge will flex her muscles broadcasting during the MMA (mixed martial arts) event.
'I've never really been into a lot of sport but MMA really excites me. Who knows where it's going to take me next!' she tells Perth Now.
Thinking back on her time as a judge on MasterChef Australia, Melissa says she has no regrets and will be watching the new season.

'I reflect on the last four years of being host and judge of MasterChef with joy, with gratitude and with maximum respect,' she said.
'I think about it every day as something that was a huge part of my life and continues to be a huge part of my life.'
