Former star of The Bachelor Matt Agnew has opened up about his mental health struggles.
On Tuesday, the 36-year-old took to Instagram and shared a sweet selfie with his dog, Pluto.
He went on to explain how selfies on social media can misrepresent how a person is really feeling, using his picture as an example.
'On the surface, it seems like pure contentment, no worries in sight. However, reality paints a different picture...this seemingly peaceful moment covered the inner struggle I was facing,' Matt wrote in the caption.
'Reaching out for support is the cornerstone of mental health management, especially during the toughest of times,' he added, before promoting an initiative called Head to Health.
