Damian Lewis was accompanied by girlfriend Alison Mosshart on Tuesday evening as he attended The Josephine Hart Poetry Foundation in London.
The actor and musician was on hand to read selected poems from at the American Ambassadors Residence, where he was also joined by Downton Abbey star Elizabeth McGovern and screen veteran Charles Dance.
Launched in memory of Hart, a writer, theatrical producer and presenter, following her death aged 69 in 2011, the Poetry Foundation helps develop arts, culture and education across the United Kingdom, with an emphasis on drama and poetry.
Poems from Elizabeth Bishop, Emily Dickinson, TS Eliot, Robert Frost and Robert Lowell were selected for Tuesday's reading, with Lewis, 53, once again showing his support to the foundation by reading to the intimate gathering.
The actor, who will soon be back on TV screens as Henry VIII in Wolf Hall: The Mirror And The Light, looked appropriately smart in a grey two-piece suit and black leather boots.

Joining her boyfriend, Mosshart. 45 - singer and guitarist with rock bands The Kills and Dead Weather - showed her support by wearing a sweater dedicated to poetry and musical collective The Last Poets.
