MasterChef star returns to the show and shares health update after chopping off ... trends now
MasterChef contestant Charlotte has given a health update as she returned to the BBC cooking show on Thursday after a horror accident.
The IT programmer, 42, from London left viewers feeling queasy after she suffered a gruesome knife injury during Tuesday episode.
Just minutes into the show vegan cook Charlotte accidentally sliced off the tip of her finger while preparing her food, a spicy vegan dumplings.
She quickly shouted for help as the cameras panned to her revealed her knife had slipped and cut off the top of her finger.
Charlotte looked panicked as she was seen holding her wound as it poured with blood.

Host John Torode rushed over and told her: 'I'm sorry to say this, but you've actually cut the top of your finger off.'
Following the accident, Charlotte returned to the BBC show and updated viewers as she showed off her finger which was bandaged up.
She said: 'I'm good thanks, I'm healing well. I'm so happy to be back.'
Despite the ordeal, Charlotte was put through to the next round.
