Fiona Bruce seemed not particularly bothered about her 60th birthday as she dismissed well wishes during her Question Time show on Thursday evening. 

The journalist, who marked her big day by working on the call-and-response political BBC show, seemed to brush off her milestone birthday.

After one member wished her 'happy birthday' before his question, Fiona quickly shut down the audience from repeatedly bring up her big day.

Laughing off the well wishes, the presenter said: 'OK everybody I am 60 today lets just get that said, oh my goodness and thank you.'

Fans were left shocked by Fiona's age as they took to X - formerly known as Twitter - to gush how 'young' she looks and asked why she isn't having a night off to 'party'.

Fiona took over as moderator on the BBC show, which first started in 1998, in December 2018.

Last month, she revealed she is planning a big birthday party in July and said she's not afraid to age despite turning 60.
