Kaitlyn's mother was June's daughter Anna 'Chickadee' Cardwell, who died after a grueling cancer battle in December at the age of just 29.
After Chickadee's death, June reportedly obtained custody of Kaitlyn, meaning the little girl is now living with her grandmother and step-grandfather Justin Stroud.
In a heartbreaking Instagram caption this Friday, June, 44, shared that she wished Chickadee were alive to help Kaitlyn get ready for the dance.
