Pink finished the Australian leg of her Summer Carnival World Tour in Townsville, QLD last month, and residents of the regional town paid a unique tribute to her.

As the American singer, 44, performed in the city on March 22 and 23, talented locals painted an enormous mural of the singer in the city's CBD.

The stunning painting depicted the performer singing up a storm while having fun amongst some pink palm trees and balloons.

Meanwhile, the Townsville Airport had enormous pink cutouts of the singer displayed throughout the arrivals lounge, to welcome her and her fans to the city.

Further, a mountain that overlooked the city was lit up with huge pink neon lights to mark Pink finishing up her record-breaking Australian concerts in the regional Queensland town.

The incredible tributes to the So What hitmaker showcased just how residents of the midsized city - population 180,000 - marked the global superstar performing there.
