Beavis and Butt-head do the red carpet! Ryan Gosling and Mikey Day return as ... trends now
Just over two weeks after their viral SNL sketch, Ryan Gosling and Mikey Day returned as Beavis and Butt-head at The Fall Guy premiere.
The 43-year-old Gosling and 44-year-old Day starred in a sketch on the April 13 episode of SNL that followed a serious discussion on AI, lead by an expert played by Kenan Thompson.
However, the serious discussion was quickly upended when Thompson was distracted by Gosling and Day dressed in exact replicas of the MTV cartoon Beavis and Butt-head, though they have no idea who the characters are.
While Gosling did hit the red carpet in a mint green suit for the premiere, held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, he later changed into his live-action Beavis costume alongside Day in his Butt-head costume.
Gosling's Beavis costume was comprised of a light blue t-shirt that says 'Death Rock' in black letters, a blonde pompadour wig, grey shorts and black slippers with white socks.

His skit partner Day arrived in in a grey t-shirt with the word 'Skull' in yellow letters with, a prosthetic device that holds his upper lip above his cleft palate like his animated character.
He also wore red shorts along with the same black slippers and white socks that his skit partner was wearing.
Gosling posed with his The Fall Guy co-star Emily Blunt in a tie-less mint green suit while accessorizing with a thin gold necklace.
The skit made headlines not only for Gosling and Day stepping into these iconic animated characters - in a sense - but also because of how co-star Heidi Gardner broke character
