Christian Bale and Jessie Buckley share a VERY passionate kiss while filming ... trends now

Christian Bale and Jessie Buckley shared a very passionate kiss while filming Maggie Gyllenhaal's The Bride on Tuesday.

The Batman actor, 50, is portraying as Dr. Frankenstein's Monster in the movie, while his co-star Jessie, 34, plays the spooky bride.

The acting duo packed on the PDA while filming scenes on the New York set late at night for the upcoming movie.

Christian wore a grungy, rugged blazer with tailored trousers and huge boots and sported special FX make-up for his character.

Jessie was spotted dressed in a blood orange satin dress, which featured a daringly high split up her leg.

Jessie looked like she had been conjured up from a Tim Burton ensemble as she wore candy blue thigh-high tights and cherry red vintage heels. 

Transforming into the spookiest bride, she switched up her tresses for a grey permed wig and rocked a wild black lipstick look. 

The film marks a reunion for Bale and Gyllenhaal, who starred alongside one another in 2008's Batman film The Dark Knight.

This film tells the story of 1930s Chicago. Frankenstein asks Dr. Euphronius to help create a companion. They give life to a murdered woman as the Bride, sparking romance, police interest, and radical social change.

Ahead of production, Christian opened up about going bald for the role during his groundbreaking ceremony for the California foster homes.

'I've got to shave my head next week [for a movie]. I asked them to please let me hold off on doing that but everyone was going, "What's wrong with Bale? What's up with him?"' Bale said.
