She shared: 'The first trimester is no f**king joke and nothing can prepare you for it. I was literally trying one day and then excited the next.

'Some days I literally couldn't leave bed for the whole day, some days I couldn't exercise at all.

'Some days I couldn't eat at all, some days I could eat literally 10,000 calories within an hour - every day was different and that's OK.'

Em shared a positive message with other expectant mothers as she promised 'there is a light at the end of the tunnel' and urged them not to be too hard on themselves.

She admitted she felt 'guilty' for struggling during the early days of her pregnancy, but said she quickly felt 'much better' after surpassing the 12-week mark.
