Katie Price has revealed what she thinks of her son Junior's new girlfriend.

The 18-year-old son of Katie and Peter Andre, is enjoying a romance with influencer Jasmine Orr, 23.

And speaking on her Katie Price Show podcast with her sister Sophie on Wednesday, Katie defended Junior's age-gap romance and said she 'can't wait' to meet Jasmine. 

'She's so pretty!' Katie, 45, said, 'I remember watching her on Celebs Go Dating.'

The mum of five insisted she isn't worried about Jasmine being five years older than her son, explaining: 'Isn't it funny when your kids get older and they get in relationships and you meet their girlfriends and boyfriends as they're adults, she's an adult.'

'They're not like young kids at school.'

Katie, who is currently in her own age gap relationship with Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, 31, continued:  'What's weird is she's 23 and he's 18, see? You can always get an age gap in relationships. As you get older an age gap doesn't matter.' 

Katie admitted that Junior hasn't told her about Jasmine himself, with her daughter Princess providing the gossip after meeting her alongside their dad Peter Andre. 

Answering a fan question about whether parents should be honest about their feelings toward a child's girlfriend or boyfriend, Katie recalled a messy past experience with Junior.  

'There's being honest and there's being honest with how you feel about your son's girlfriends.'
