Katherine Jenkins OBE stunned in a regal ensemble on Thursday as she attended the King's Trust Global Gala in New York City.

The Welsh opera singer, 43, was the epitome of royal chic in a fabulous off-the-shoulder ball gown which featured ruffled tulle sleeves.

Her garment was perfected with an exaggerated puffed tulle skirt, which trailed a meter behind her as she stepped onto the glitzy red carpet.

Making her presence felt as the event got underway in Manhattan, the singing sensation posed confidently and dazzled the cameras with her grand look.

To accessorise, she kept it simple with a pair of gold diamond hoop earrings, a diamond ring and a plain black manicure.

The Trust helps young people aged 11 to 30 get into jobs, education and training - and its beneficiaries have included The Wire and Luther actor Idris Elba, who used a £1,500 grant from it to help start his career.
