MasterChef Australia was rocked by an elimination on Sunday night which saw Jonathan Hooper and Harry Butterfield in the bottom two.
But while many were sad to see Jonathan, 29, get the cut from the Channel 10 series, most found themselves baffled by the shocking promo for Monday night's episode.
As the carpenter made his exit, the show launched into a bizarre promo which left viewers scratching their heads when it teased 'mystery box babies'.
It was prefaced by Jonathan taking his leave of the show after his grandmother's beef ragu pappardelle recipe failed to impress the judges.
He found himself facing elimination alongside Harry, 29, who dished up his own grandmother's ravioli, but ultimately Jonathan got the cut.
