Emily Blunt has sent shockwaves after claiming some of her smooches with Hollywood's hottest heartthrobs 'made her want to be sick'. 

The Devil Wears Prada star, 41, who is married to US actor John Krasinski, spoke to Howard Stern last week about her intimate moments, with the shock jock asking if any on-screen kisses had made her 'want to throw up'.

Emily explosively confessed: 'Absolutely, absolutely...I wouldn't say it's extreme loathing, but I've definitely not enjoyed some of it.' 

A look back at Emily's illustrious career, which started on the West End stage aged 18 opposite Judi Dench, sees a slew of Hollywood heartthrobs acting as her love interests - yet Emily refused to specify who was the focus of her comments.

Across a vast filmography, Emily has kissed the likes of Tom Cruise, Ryan Gosling, Jamie Dornan, Matt Damon, Colin Firth and Sam Neill.

NATALIE PRESS - My Summer Of Love - 2004

In one of her theatrical debut, Emily starred as Tamsin in British drama My Summer Of Love, directed by Paweł Pawlikowski and co-written by Pawlikowski and Michael Wynne - based on the 2001 novel of the same name by Helen Cross. 

The film follows the relationship between Emily's relationship with actress Natalie Press' character Mona, who comes from a lower class background.

Emily and Natalie's kisses were frequent in the film, in which the adoring duo profess their undying love and swear to kill themselves if they ever separate.  

SAM NEILL - Irresistible - 2006  

Thriller Irresistible stars Susan Sarandon as Sophie, who starts to see things disappearing from her house and becomes convinced that she is being stalked.

She begins to suspect Emily's character Mara, who is the colleague of her husband Craig - played by Sam Neill. Her suspicions lead to worse realisations. 

Steamy moments between Sam and Emily see Mara profess 'f**k me' to the star. The duo share a whopping 35 year age gap. 

JASON SEGEL - Gulliver's Travels - 2010 

Emily plays the Princess of Lilliputia in the movie while Jason stars as her love interest Horatio, alongside a host of other stars. 

In the film, they are seen sharing passionate moments however she never detailed or discussed any of her romances in the movie. 

EWAN MCGREGOR - Salmon Fishing In The Yemen - 2011

In Salmon Fishing In The Yemen, which was adapted from Paul Torday's novel of the same name, Ewan's character is tasked with the seemingly impossible mission of introducing salmon into the Yemen wadis by a sheikh. 

Emily plays the sheikh's representative Harriet and said of working with Ewan: 'He is awesome. I think many women were really jealous that I got to work with him for that long. He's swoon-able...

'The movie has such heart so everyone worked really hard on it. It is an original story so everyone was relieved to work on something new and fresh.'

She also spoke about her resolution not to strip for sex scenes while discussing the film at the time as she said: 'What I loved about [slow burning romance with Ewan McGregor in 2011's Salmon Fishing In The Yemen] was that it felt like it was from a different era. So many films these days have people ripping clothes off each other...

'The film had decorum. It was a slow-burning romance. The main draw for me was the dynamic between the two characters,' 

MATT DAMON - The Adjustment Bureau - 2011

Emily starred opposite Matt, in the thriller, in which Matt plays David, a politician on the verge of winning a seat in the US Senate, who meets Emily's character Elise, a ballet dancer, and falls in love with her.

They are met with a mysterious group of men try their best to keep them apart.

Their on-screen kiss comes as soon as they meet in the movie, and reviews stated that the duo's chemistry was instantly explosive. 

Emily did not speak much about the kiss however detailed the training regime to depict a dancer, saying at the time: 'It was really intense...

'I did two hours in a dance studio and two hours in the gym every day for two months before the movie, and then during the movie whenever I could. And then a really tedious diet, which was the worst part for me.'

Matt and Emily reunited in Oppenheimer 13 years later.  

COLIN FIRTH - Arthur And Mike - 2012 

In Arthur and Mike, Colin plays a man whoe fakes his death and buys a new identity as Arthur Newman. On an escaping road trip, he meets Emily's character Mike. They fall in love as they learn about each other in their adventure. 

In an interview with CNN, Emily and Colin were told that every actress who discussed kissing Colin had put him in their top three best kisses.

Emily replied: 'Colin, that's rather good isn't it!',
