La La Anthony stuns in black lace Alexander McQueen gown with red floral ... trends now

La La Anthony strutted on the red carpet in a formal gown at the 2024 MET Gala in New York City on Monday. 

The TV personality, 41 - who recently shared that she is grateful for BFF Kim Kardashian's help in justice reform work - joined other celebrities at the glitzy event, such as Zendaya and Ashley Graham. 

Anthony wowed in a black dress from Alexander McQueen's Fall 2023 collection designed by Sarah Burton that clung to her frame and contained black, lace details around the neckline and sleeves. 

The hem of the mermaid-styled gown brushed the ground and contained red floral details that offered a pop of color. 

The Total Request Live alum additionally added a pair of matching, black lace gloves to complete the overall outfit. 

Her brunette locks were pulled back into a sleek up do, preventing any loose strands from falling onto her face and added a black bow embellishment on top of her head. 

She accessorized the dress with a pair of dangly, silver earrings as well as flashy, chunky rings on each of her hands. 

In regards to her makeup for the big night, Anthony opted for voluminous lashes as well as a bronze, smoky shadow around her eyes. 

A warm blush and contour was added to better accentuate her cheekbones, while a glossy nude tint was worn on her lips and bordered by a darker lipliner. 

While posing for a photo session on the decked out red carpet, the star held a floral piece in her hand that had sparkling, silver rhinestones. 

La La was embracing this year's dress code, The Garden of Time, as the MET's Costume Institute celebrates its new exhibition called Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.' 

The star-studded festivities annually take place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the heart of the Big Apple on the first Monday in May.

This year, the hosts for the event include Zendaya, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez and also Bad Bunny, per Vogue.
