Channel Seven appears to be backing its new star Dr. Chris Brown to the hilt.

In a surprise move the network has renewed the 45-year-old celebrity vet's Dream Home series - before its first season has made its premiere.

Based on a successful New Zealand format, the reality show will see six couples attempt to convert each other's houses room-by-room. 

The show will be Brown's network Seven series debut, after the former I'm Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here star made his shock exit from Channel 10 last year.

Producers of Dream home, meanwhile, have announced a casting call for season 2 reported TV Blackbox on Tuesday.

According to the casting notice creators are seeking couples who have dreams of renovating their home. 

'Not only will your house be transformed into the home of your dreams - for free, you'll also be competing for a life-changing cash prize!,' the notice said.
