Married At First Sight Australia's Lauren Dunn has announced a shocking new career move.

The PR maven, 32, has signed with one of the country's leading celebrity talent managers, SF Celebrity Management.

But it looks like Lauren won't be following in the footsteps of many other MAFS alum such as Tahnee Cook and Ella Ding, who have used their platform to become influencers and brand ambassadors.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, a source close to Lauren's management said she has already had some big brands and advertising campaigns reach out, however 'she is not looking to become an influencer.'

Rather than just working with brands on social media, Lauren, who was paired with Jono McCullough on the reality dating show, is hoping to launch 'a career in media television.'

On Monday, Lauren's new management released a statement to Yahoo Lifestyle, saying they were pleased to have signed Lauren and that her 'energetic nature and strong opinions made her a standout in this season.'

'Showcasing her sharp wit, and ability to hold her own in tough situations, Lauren is smart and charismatic and we're proud to have her on board and look at opportunities that align to her brand and wider interests,' the statement read.

But Lauren isn't the only MAFS participant from 2024's season to cash in on their 15. minutes of fame.
