Tiffany Haddish promoted her new book of essays with a hilarious interview on Tuesday on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS.
The 44-year-old comedian in a one-shoulder red vegan leather dress was asked by Stephen, 59, about the title of her new book I Curse You With Joy that was just published by Diversion Books.
'I've been saying it to audiences for years,' Tiffany said.
Tiffany said she used it for the title of her book in response to commentary on the Internet and social media.
'I feel like with the Internet and everything that people are saying so many negative things all the time, just putting out all this negativity,' Tiffany said. 'I feel your words are so powerful.'

Tiffany said when she sees negative commentary coming towards her that she knows the person responsible must be unhappy.
'They must not have joy. So I curse you with joy. You must be hurting,' Tiffany said.
'That is a very generous response to other people's negativity,' Stephen said.
'Then I get on my fake page and call them all kind of fat
