As cool as her ensemble was, she wasn't frosty with her boyfriend, Rolling Stone CEO Gus Wenner, 34.
The I Am Sam star, 26, looked absolutely smitten with her beau, snuggling up to him, planting kisses on his cheek and generally staying glued to his side.
As Elle planted a kiss on her boyfriend's cheek, he smiled and whatever she whispered in his ear made him crack up.
The couple have been dating since November and are frequently spotted packing on the PDAs.
On Tuesday she took to Instagram to say the evening was 'unforgettable': 'Thank you Anna [Wintour] for another unforgettable first Monday in May!'

The Met Gala was a good break for the actress who has been filming the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown with Timothée Chalamet.
Elle and Gus hard launched their relationship on the red carpet of the 2024 Golden Globe Awards in January.
Gus is the son of Jane Schindelheim and Jann Wenner, who co-founded Rolling Stone magazine. He attended Brown University with Scout Willis and was in the group Gus + Scout with her.
After graduating in 2012, he took a low level job at his father's magazine to learn the ropes.
