This Morning star Lynsey Crombie, 45, admits she's 'finding it hard to love ... trends now

This Morning star Lynsey Crombie has admitted that she's finding it 'hard to love herself' after her shock cancer diagnosis.

The TV personality, 45, - who appears on the ITV show as the Queen of Clean and has a huge Instagram following - has opened up about how a skin cancer diagnosis last year turned her world upside down.

She has told in a new interview how she 'fell to the floor' after doctors told her the bad news and that the diagnosis was a 'huge wake up call'.

It came after Lynsey noticed a change in a mole on her knee that sparked concern.

After being told by doctors it was nothing to worry about she sought a second opinion from a private mole clinic and was then given an 'urgent referral' - before two of her moles were removed.

Two weeks later when she was in America she got a call saying that she had invasive melanoma.

She told Ok! Magazine of that moment: 'I put the phone down on the doctor, I was in shock. When you hear the word cancer, I literally fell to the floor - I didn't even give the doctor time to explain the type of cancer or how bad it was.'

In terms of her mental health after the diagnosis she told how it was hard to 'love herself', saying that: 'I'm just not right.'

She added: 'It wasn't the mole I was concerned about, it was the one that had been there for years - I would never have gone about that other one, I didn't see it as a problem.'

For her treatment she had a wide local excision around the mole on her knee to ensure there were no other cancer cells in the area.

She now needs no further treatment but has regular skin checks with the NHS.

A month ago she enjoyed a trip to Gran Canaria and told how it was her 'first time in the sun since surgery'.

Sharing a snap on the beach she penned: 'Reflecting on a different kind of holiday for me this year, one filled with gratitude and caution after my battle with invasive Melanoma last year.

'During my trip to Greece, I noticed two new moles on my knee, prompting concern. Despite reassurances from doctors, my gut told me otherwise. And it turns out, my intuition was right.

'This trip has marked my first time in the sun since surgery, and I was understandably anxious. I am taking every precaution, covering up, wearing a hat (even though I'm not typically a 'hat person'), and religiously applying factor 50 sunscreen every hour. But I am still managing to have a fabulous time, thanks to careful planning and a touch of self-confidence boost from the fake stuff.

'While the sun-kissed glow might not be as 'real,' it certainly
